Gerry is the current Chairman of Ngamanawa Incorporation. Gerry has been the Chairman since 2004 and is the longest-standing committee member, having joined the Committee of Management in 2000. Gerry has a vast knowledge of the Incorporation and its significant history.

Gerry is also a current trustee of the Ngāti Hangarau Marae Committee. Trustee of both the Ngāti Hangarau Charitable Trust and Hapū Trust (Post Settlement Governance Entity). He is also an operator of Gardiner Fencing Limited and brings a vast amount of experience to the Ngamanawa Incorporation Committee of Management.
