Dave is an uri of the Nuku whānau from Ngāti Hangarau. Dave’s earliest memories of Ngamanawa Incorporation whenua are of the stories his father would share about how and why the Incorporation was founded and how the whenua is a source of great mana for our people.

Dave spent over two decades working throughout Southeast Asia in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia establishing and managing commercial health clubs before returning to Aotearoa in 2021 with his wife Tracy and theri two children Jazz and Sol.

Dave’s adamant that it’s an exciting time to join Ngamanawa as the Incorporation has built a talented team, a diverse portfolio of business interest, leadership in Te Taiao Kaitiakitanga and an engaging programme of wānanga and hui for shareholders.

As the General Manager he aims to continue to build on and strengthen these pillars to achieve his aspirations for Ngamanawa
